Winning the Battle but Losing the War

Things have turned rather ugly lately and some people have gotten even uglier. To celebrate the murder of anyone is the hideous act of demons. These people who are celebrating need our prayer, not our condemnation. Yes, we condemn their actions but we are errant to condemn the person committing such actions. We need to pray for our enemies as Jesus taught us to do. He reminds us: Love of Enemies. Matthew 5  43  “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  44  But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, 45  that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. 46  For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? 48 So be p...

Our Prayers Can Make Satan's Harvest A Paltry One

After the events of the past several days, it has been made abundantly clear that we need prayer more than ever. We need to pray for the families who have been the true victims of violence. We need to pray to eradicate hatred in the hearts of people who want to murder those who actually love them, tell them the truth, and want to see them in heaven.  So, how did we get here? It is through lack of love for God, lack of gratitude for what He has given us and lack of prayer that unites us to Him. Many have turned away from the good God to follow their own broken and morally bankrupt conscience. We truly are living in the days of the new Sodom and Gomorrah. Those were the days before the coming of Jesus, when the world was entirely Satan's kingdom. Well, Satan has returned with a vengeance because he knows his time is shorter than ever. Yes. It seems that Satan has been working very hard to reclaim his kingdom once again. So the question is... is this a sign that Jesus se...

Welcome to Catholic Prayer Line!

Welcome to Catholic Prayer Line Blog! There is so much suffering and pain in these times and prayer is perpetually being dismissed as a useless, virtue-signalling activity. This attitude is encouraged by demons. Evil knows how powerful prayer is and certainly does not want us praying. Prayer, in fact, is the most powerful act we can perform when we couple our prayers with a devout life.   Our desire is that this site may attract those who feel a calling to pray and make sacrifices for those who are suffering. For those who are suffering and in need of prayer, we pray you may find some solace here.   Praying for others is an act of Charity and as Jesus said, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ (Matt 25:31-46 full text) James 5:16 : "Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working".    1 Th...
