Welcome to Catholic Prayer Line!
Welcome to Catholic Prayer Line Blog!
There is so much suffering and pain in these times and prayer is perpetually being dismissed as a useless, virtue-signalling activity. This attitude is encouraged by demons. Evil knows how powerful prayer is and certainly does not want us praying. Prayer, in fact, is the most powerful act we can perform when we couple our prayers with a devout life.
Our desire is that this site may attract those who feel a calling to pray and make sacrifices for those who are suffering. For those who are suffering and in need of prayer, we pray you may find some solace here.
Praying for others is an act of Charity and as Jesus said, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ (Matt 25:31-46 full text)
- James 5:16: "Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working".
- 1 Thessalonians 5:17: "Pray without ceasing".
- 1 Timothy 2:1: "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people".
- Romans 15:30: Paul asks for prayers: "Now I (Paul) beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me".
God Bless!
